Lovely stay in Amsterdam! 🇳🇱

Got a lekker breakfast spread with fresh breads and hot food, and staff were super friendly, always ready to help out. Room was comfy, nice shower, and the location was tops—easy walk to museums and trams!

The lift is quite tiny, so just be ready to do some stairs if you're on a higher floor.

Family with children overall good option

The staff , they were incredibly welcoming and offered us a snack and drinks upon arrival. We even got a bottle of water waiting in our room, which felt thoughtful after a long journey. The location was really nice, just a short walk to nearby museums and attractions.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but for the price , still acceptable considering the amenities and service we received.

Staying at Huygens was a lovely experience. The modern decor caught my eye right away. I appreciated the cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. The bed offered exceptional comfort. I slept like a baby every night. Having a Nespresso machine in the room was delightful—perfect for that morning caffeine fix. The location was spot on, just a short walk to the Van Gogh Museum. the breakfast spread had a ton of options. I enjoyed the fresh pastries and a solid selection of hot food. the lift was tiny and had its quirks. the long staircase made it a bit of a workout getting to my room. I did notice the noise from the trams below at night, which could be disturbing to light sleepers. A double-glazing solution would really help mitigate that. during breakfast, I sometimes had to wait for dishes to be replenished. a great spot but could use a few tweaks to make it even better.

I was impressed by the hotel's beautiful decor and modern amenities, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The comfortable beds and thoughtful touches, like complimentary stroopwafels, made my stay even more enjoyable and memorable.

A more reliable lift would be appreciated for seniors.

The hotel is perfectly placed near Vondelpark, ideal for our family with three grandchildren to explore. We especially loved the cozy breakfast spot by the garden, where the kids munched on fresh pastries while we enjoyed the lovely atmosphere.

My kids wished for more kid-friendly dining options close by.

During my stay at Huygens, the combination of historical architecture and modern amenities captivated me. The location near the Van Gogh Museum proved ideal for our daily explorations. Although the lift's size presented a minor inconvenience with our luggage, it didn't overshadow the delightful experience overall.

The garden area was a real gem for unwinding after a long day. Our room had a cool two-level setup, perfect for getting comfy.
